Chatpati Sukhi Urad Dal, Spicy Dry Urad Dal.
Ingredients:
- I bowl soaked white urad dal
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 tomato chopped
- Chopped garlic 4 -5 cloves
- Chopped ginger
- Salt
- Turmeric
- Garam Masala
- Red Chilli Powder
- Amchhor /Khatai
- Jeera Cumin)
- Heeng (Asafoetida)
- Dry Red whole chillies
- Cinnamon
- Ghee
Method:
-
- Boil Dal with salt, turmeric, garam masala and one bowl water. Two whistles are enough.
- Heat ghee in a pan, add jeera, Heeng , Dry chillies, cinnamon, add onion , garlic and ginger, fry, add tomatoes and green chillies. Fry till done.
- Add to dal.
- Serve with butter and Roti.
