Palak Wali Kadhi the old fashioned way
And amazing Palak Kadhi.
Ingredients
- 2 bowl sour curd
- 2 tablespoon besan (Gram flour)
- 250 gms chopped green Spinach
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Chilli powder
- Jeera (Cumin)
- Heeng (Asafoetida)
- Mustard seeds
- Cinnamon
- Whole dry red chillies
Method
-
- Mix Curd, besan (Gram flour), water, salt and turmeric in a blender. Keep aside.
- Heat olive oil, add cumin, dry whole red chillies, heeng and cinnamon, let crackle.
- Add spinach , cover and cook for 2 minutes
- Open, stir add curd mixture, add 3 cups water, stir and let cook on medium heat.
- Stir often and let cook for 20 minutes.
- Take out in a bowl.
- To make tadka (tempering).. heat olive oil , add jeera, heeng and red chilly powder.
- Add it to the kadhi
- Eureka!! Its done! Serve with rice
