I am putting out the list of 5 movies no 6 now which will force you to think what makes you happier and why you should follow your heart no matter what.Who knows they may give you your New Year resolution. I strongly advocate that you simply must watch these 5 in these days. You can Thank me later:

1.Into The wild

One great movie about living free. It’s a great watch and will leave you wanting to change your perspective about life, be unconventional and do what you believe in .

I am quoting some of the dialogues which make it worth the watch and are my personal favourites:

“ Strong. You can do anything. You can go anywhere. Money, power is an illusion. It’s up here. You can be here. Me and you”

“ I’m going to miss you when you go.

I will miss you too, but you are wrong if you think that the joy of life comes principally from the joy of human relationships. God’s place is all around us, it is in everything and in anything we can experience. People just need to change the way they look at things.”

Here is one of the scenes I like best in the movie

2.Forrest Gump

I am sure lot of you know about this movie and some would have watched it too but still it is my most recommended movie. The reason being it conveys that spreading happiness is possible in any circumstance. There is so much to learn about gratefulness here.

Some of my super favourite dialogues from the movie

Have you found Jesus yet, Gump?” – Lieutenant Daniel Taylor
“I didn’t know I was supposed to be looking for him, sir.” – Forrest Gump

I don’t know if we each have a destiny, or if we’re all just floatin’ around accidental-like on a breeze. But I, I think maybe it’s both. – Forrest Gump

And here is scene I like best from the movie.

A Must Watch before the year ends.

3.The Pursuit of Happyness
My personal favourite, watching this movie will fill your eyes with tears many times but it will also fill your heart with joy and confidence.

My pick of the dialogue from this movie and I can see it a 100 times just for these words.

“Others may question your credentials, your papers, your degrees. Others may look for all kinds of ways to diminish your worth. But what is inside you no one can take from you or tarnish. This is your worth, who you really are, your degree that can go with you wherever you go, that you bring with you the moment you come into a room, that can’t be manipulated or shaken. Without that sense of self, no amount of paper, no pedigree, and no credentials can make you legit. No matter what, you have to feel legit inside first.”

Now grab your popcorns, catch hold of a box of tissue papers and let the movie take over.

4.Dead Poets Society
I love this movie for its simplicity and powerful messages which compel us to live in the moment. A movie which advocates why we need not conform and follow our hearts, I love it every time I see it.

The Dialogues which play in your mind long after.

John Keating: “Seize the day Boys. Make life extraordinary.”
John Keating: Seize the day Boys. Make life extraordinary.
John Keating: Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day boys, make your lives extraordinary.

John Keating: You must strive to find your own voice because the longer you wait to begin, the less likely you are going to find it at all.
And one of the best scenes for there are too many great ones in this movie.

Watch it and Love it.

5.Edward Scissorhands

I personally like the movie for making me feel like watching fairytales one more time. The message of being different does not mean being less holds lot of power for me. I consider this acceptance of yourself very conducive to happiness.
The dialogues I love most from the movie.

Older Woman/TV: But if you had regular hands, you’d be like everyone else.

Peg Boggs: Never let anyone tell you you’re handicapped. You’re…. special.

The very best scene that you can do anything. Love it

Bring the child out in you and watch this treat.

6. Yes Its CONTAGION: And you know why I am saying that. So go ahead satisfy your curosity and marvel at the imagination. My favourite scene

And My Favourite dialogues.

  • RADM Lyle Haggerty: We just need to make sure that nobody knows until everybody knows
  • Dr. Ian Sussman: Blogging is not writing, it’s graffiti with punctuation.
  • Dr. Erin Mears: Stop touching your face, Dave.
  • Dr. Erin Mears: Don’t talk to anyone! Don’t touch anyone!
  • Dr. Ellis Cheever: Well, Dr. Gupta, there continue to be evaluations of several drugs, Ribavirin is among them. But, right now our best defence has been social distancing. No hands shaking, staying home when you’re sick, washing your hands frequently.
Helpful Doctor: Alan today on Twitter, you wrote on that the truth about this virus is being kept from the world, by the CDC, by the World Health Organisation, to allow friends of the current administration to benefit from it both financially and physically.

I will prove that Happiness is better for health than any pill !!

Being in a state of happiness gives phenomenal benefits to your heart, In a study called Positive affect and biological function in everyday life  Andrew Steptoe and JaneWardle  found that happiness lowers heart rate and blood pressure. “In the study, participants rated their happiness over 30 times in one day and then again three years later. The initially happiest participants had a lower heart rate on follow-up (about six beats slower per minute), and the happiest participants during the follow-up had better blood pressure.” Research has also found a link between happiness and another measure of heart health: heart rate variability, which refers to the time interval between heartbeats. In 2008 Bhattacharyya MR , Whitehead DL, Rakhit R, and Steptoe A   monitored 76 patients suspected to have coronary artery disease. Was happiness linked to healthier hearts even among people who might have heart problems?
