Here is the solution.
Point at the card in the middle and ask “Is the card to my left an ace?”If the answer is “yes”, the card on the left is ace otherwise the card on the right.
We can consider two cases
1. The middle card is an ace.
2. The middle card is a Jack.
If the middle card is an ace, asking the above question Anand will answer truthfully, and so the left card is an ace if Anand says yes, and the right card is an ace if Anand says no.
Rut if the middle card is the Jack, then both of the other cards are aces, and so again the left card is an ace if Anand says yes (so is the right card but that is now irrelevant), and the right card is an ace if Anand says no (as is the left card, again irrelevantly).
